What should tenants do themselves?

Basic household maintenance, including:

• changing smoke alarm batteries
• garden maintenance (inc. mowing & weeding)
• legionnaires cleaning
• electrical testing on your own appliances
• repair damages you caused

As standard, reporting any issues to the letting agent/landlord.
